A beautiful plant with its oh so important flowers in winter/early spring. Celebrated justly for its white flowers and evergreen foliage. Grows to about 30cm tall with an eventiual spread of 60cm. The flowers are polite, facing outwards and never too far from the foliage, also suitable for cut flowers.
Where to plant them? Where to start! They prefer a neutral/alkaline well drained soil but are not too fussy as long as the soil is not dry or waterloggedi. Thyhey make great plants to underplant your summer interest shrubs such as roses or deciduous trees, and are stunning in containers which you can move close to your doors in the winter months.
Care is easy, just deadhead occasionally to keep neat and strong.
