A large species Hosta from Japan, the parent of many cultivars. Large, blue green leaves with prominent veining and a wavy edge. White flowers in summer. The thick leaves give good slug resistance. Vigorous and easy to grow in part or full shade.Moisture retentive, well drained soil.
