Astrantia

A lovely genus of plants that are very undemanding in the garden. They generally enjoy a little shade, especially the white forms, or full sun in soils rich in organic matter. The flowers are produced in abundance, much loved by your friendly and important Hymenopterans, and are long lasting so very suitable for flower arrangements. They dry easily so can be used in both fresh or dries arrangements.
