This Helleborus argutifolius variety flowers appear at the moment when nature begins to come to life from winter sleep. 'Green Dwarf' is a variety with very decorative leaves and cream-green flowers. It grows to about 40 cm in height and produces raised stems with sumptuous, strong, leathery leaves with serrated edges, at last a member of this spoecies manageable and noble in the smaller garden boirder! The shiny surface of the leaf blade has a beautiful dark green color. From March to April, charming, calyx-shaped, cream-green flowers gathered in clusters appear on the tops of the shoots. 'Green Dwarf' is perfect for naturalistic gardens.
