An easy to grow aroid. Perfect for woodland gardens, it prefers a rich, moisture retentive soil. and will clump readily where happy. Does not like drying out or sitting in waterlogged soil. Mulch each autumn with leaf mould for excellent results.
It first produces a five lobed leaf, the flowering shoot emerges shortly after
,sporting a 6-8cm purple/green and white/cream striped spathe (outer flower). They flower early, usually March/April.
