A deciduous fern from the Atlantic coast of North America. It prefers moist, acidic soil. It also grows well in a container.
This fern will fill an area with fresh green fronds. It will grow to about 60cm or so and in the right location, such as a wet woodland understory or along streams, is a superb fern.
