Bloody Butcher
A beautiful Trillium, about 30-40cm high with deep maroon flowers. The leaves themselves longer than most Trilliums and beautifully mottled. It dies down completely from autumn through winter.
Very hardy (-15C), it thrives in moisture retentive soil in light or dappled shade.
